What is this English what I teach?

Martin Parker

Martin Parker has taught linguistics at universities in the UK, Poland, New Zealand, and the Middle East. Since 2000 he has been an Associate Professor of Linguistics in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Bahrain, where he is currently teaching phonology, semantics, and the history of the English language. His main research interest is in the politics of the English language
